Save things to your Wish List from anywhere on the web without returning to MySpace. Just follow the instructions below…

  1. Drag this button to your bookmarks bar.
  2. Visit your favorite sites. Find the item you want to add.
  3. Click the ‘Add to Wish List’ button on your bookmarks bar.
  4. Comment why you want the item (optional).
  1. Right-click this button, and add choose ‘Add to favorites…’
  2. Visit your favorite sites. Find the item you want to add.
  3. Click the ‘Add to Wish List’ button on your links toolbar.
  4. Comment why you want the item (optional).

Right-click the ‘Add to Wish List’ button above, and add choose ‘Add to favorites…’ The following warning appears:

You are adding a favorite that may not be safe. Do you want to continue?

Click ‘Yes’ to continue.

The Add to Favorites dialog then opens. Here you need to save the bookmarklet in your Links folder. If the dialog doesn't show the Links folder like this:

…then click ‘Create In >>’ and choose the Links folder:

Click ‘OK.’ You're done! Your Links bar should now look something like this:

Now you can just click it whenever you see something cool anywhere on the Web you want to add to your Wish List on MySpace.

Troubleshooting

If you don't see the ‘Add to My Wish List’ button on your browser's Links bar, you need to unhide your Links bar.

Choose View > Toolbars menu. Make sure the ‘Links’ menu item is checked and the ‘Lock the Toolbars’ menu item is unchecked. Your Links bar should appear next to the Address bar like this:

Grab the Links bar using the gripper area to the left of the word ‘Links’ and drag it below the Address bar.

Now you're ready to go!
