What the heck is War of the Roses?

War of the Roses is a game where you compete for Top Fan™ status with your friends. You become a Top Fan™ by giving the most roses with one catch: red roses always beat white roses. You can get white roses by completing achievements. In fact, you probably have some white roses already. If you wait too long to give away your white roses, they will wilt and die. Because roses are always wilting, you have to keep giving roses to stay on top!

I ran out of roses! How do I get more?

There are lots of ways to get more roses:

1. Get a few white roses every day you return to this page.
2. Visit 3 days in a row and you’ll be entered to win the Rose Jackpot!
3. Get 5 white roses for each friend you invite to play.
4. Sign-up to receive Rose-grams and you’ll get 20 white roses.
5. For every 5 roses you give, you’ll receive a white rose for your generosity.
6. Buy precious red roses from the Flower Shop or ask a friend for red roses (you’re worth it)!

What are roses for?

Give virtual roses to friends and celebrities to show them that you care. Give red roses to your boyfriend or girlfriend to show that you love them. Everyone likes to get roses! Also, you should stop and smell them.

How long do roses last before they wilt?

White roses begin wilting as soon as you receive them and die within a week. Give ‘em away fast! Red roses are much heartier and last a full year. Buy red roses in bulk to save money and give them as gifts for a birthday, anniversary, Valentine‘s Day, or just to show how much you care! After you give roses, your gift will be visible for 4 weeks.
