Step 1
Add your Bizmo to your profile
How do I find my Bizmo ID?
Go to www.thebizmo.com and log in Click the "My Details" option on the left hand side of the dashboard Look on the right hand side of the dashboard. You will see your bizmo ID number just above the save button
But I don't have a Bizmo ID?
Register for a free bizmo microstore at www.thebizmo.com and then you can come back to this page to add your bizmo ID.
I don't want to register, I just want to test this out
If you just want to try this out and see what a Bizmo might look like on your profile, try The Alarm's bizmo ID 66672. You can always change it later.
Step 2
Now, do some marketing work
Adding a Bizmo does not mean that you can just upload tracks and then sit back and wait for fame to come knocking on your door. You need to get out there into the market. Here are a few pointers on how to do it:
- No matter how good your track is it is only a single, and that's not enough to keep fans interested, or to keep you in guitar strings and computers. You should be selling everything you have (merchandise, tickets, lyrics, screensavers, ring tones etc.)
- Email all your hardcore fans and get them to embed your bizmo on their various pages. Read about resellers at www.thebizmo.com/wp/products/resellers DO NOT SPAM ANYONE EVER. It does not work, and it is a waste of your time. Just email the people you know want to hear from you.
- Use bulletins to promo products you have on sale in your bizmo. You can actually paste your bizmo into a bulletin, so whatever you are selling is right there for your fans to buy when they read the bulletin. Do not overdo the bulletin function either. It's like crying wolf if you do it too much.
