* Yumie Matches are lots of fun

We will show you pictures of yumie foods. Tell us if you like them or not. Then we will show you the people who are just like you. It is that simple, and it works! Give it a try, and invite friends.

We love to hear from you. Send us a note at: yumiedate@gmail.com

How to play:
You will see pictures of foods on the left hand side. Tell us if you like them or not, by clicking the "Love It!", "No Thanks", or "Skip it" buttons. Every time you click those buttons we will show you a new picture of food. As soon as we find some people that match you, we will show you their pictures on the right hand side. The more food pictures you rate the more accurate the matches will be. Also, make sure you invite friends so we can tell you how similar they are to you.

How it works:
Every time you tell us you like something or don't you give us more information about what you like and what you don't. We add these all up and compare them with what others' likes and dislikes are. The more things you mark, the more accurate the matches will be. And the more people play, the higher the chance of finding that person who has the exact same tastes as you. At the end we will show you the people who have the same tastes as you.

YumieDate Was conceived of on 2/21/2009 at the WeekendApps - OpenSocial event at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California. The app was originally developed by Kevin Nilson, Nima Dilmaghani, and Bill Paseman as a learning exercise and a way to have some fun. The app won one of the two top prizes which was one week as the Editor's Pick on MySpace. BrainChef was the other winner. Kevin and Nima are maintaining and developing YumieDate further.
